New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are unusual holidays because of the different ways they are celebrated. Some people love going to big bashes and ringing in the New Year with a crowd of people all counting down the final seconds. Others gather with friends for a festive celebration. And many other people prefer to celebrate the holiday quietly, recovering from the busy holiday season.
Whichever way you celebrate, you have to include dessert! These recipes will feed a crowd (or just two!) and satisfy every sweet craving. After all, on January 2nd, we start trying to follow our resolutions.
The cookies will look gorgeous presented on some of your prettiest serving trays. And the desserts should be set up on a table all their own, so guests can browse freely and choose exactly what they want. And remember to browse through my Recipe Box to choose other favorite sweets.
