I recently purchased one of those little cookbooks that are sold by checkout counters in grocery stores. This one was by the Hershey company, and in the front there was a list of all the baking bits products the company produces. Wow!
They now offer milk chocolate chips filled with peanut butter, milk chocolate chips filled with caramel, white chocolate and macadamia nut combos, and special dark chips. Nestle, too, has lots of new offerings, including a white chocolate and semisweet chocolate swirled chip.
I haven't been able to find some of them in my grocery store, but I asked the manager and he's going to talk to the buyer about it. Did you know you could do that? Grocery stores want your business, and customers can request items they can't find.
