For the Fourth of July, see how I transform some of my favorite desserts into party ready treats.

The Fourth of July is such a fun holiday to celebrate. All you have to do is think red, white, and blue and lots of great ideas will come to you. For the Fourth of July, these are the desserts I like to make, and how I transform them into a celebratory look:

  • Lemon Icebox Dessert Fold raspberries and blueberries (about a cup of each) into the lemon mixture before putting it in the crust.
  • Mile High Strawberry Dessert Fold blueberries into this dessert before freezing, and serve it with a sauce made of crushed strawberries, lemon juice, and a bit of sugar.
  • Blueberry Cupcakes Reduce the blueberries amount to 3/4 cup, and fold in 1/2 cup frozen raspberries. Frost with whipped topping tinted pink with more crushed raspberries.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!
