Bar Cookies

Bar cookies are my favorite; they're easy to make and feed a crowd.

If I have a choice between making drop cookies or bar cookies, a bar cookie will win every time. They take about half the time as drop cookies and are usually a lot richer too, because you can pile more good stuff on a crust than you can on a little cookie!
