An original British desert, the Trifle is the perfect potluck dessert showing off the beauty of the trifle bowl dish while providing a tasty dessert.

Trifle desserts are made using different ingredients but the concept of trifling always comes back to laying of some portion of the ingredients. A Pumpkin trifle is made of layers of ingredients typically associated with fall, Thanksgiving, or Halloween. A chocolate trifle uses layers of ingredients which make chocolate lovers salivate.
